The mission of our Volunteer Program is to enhance the quality of life for the residents of Aaron Manor. We invite you to join us as a volunteer at Aaron Manor and share in the joys and rewards of being a member of our community. Among those joys are the things we do with other people, sharing experiences, talking about what’s new, lending a hand to a friend, and exchanging ideas.

We are always looking for caring people to volunteer. We welcome individuals of all ages, 16 years or older and/or accompanied by and adult 16 years of age. Volunteer Opportunities

• Friendly Vistor
• Become a friend to residents by visiting with them, playing cards, reading, writing letters, etc
• Adopt a Grand Parent
• Parents and their children have the opportunity to build a connection with a resident by visiting with them. Spend your time sharing stories, playing games, coloring, or reading with residents.
• Manicurist
• Spend some time providing manicures to residents and have a friendly chat.
• Game Club
• Stop by and play one of your favorite board or card games with residents.
• Spiritual Support
• Escort residents to and from in-house religious services and spiritual services offered at Aaron Manor. You will have the opportunity to engage in religious discussions with residents or read religious writings to them.

• Transporter
• Transport residents in wheelchairs to and from appointments within the facility. Engage in friendly conversation with residents as they await appointments.
• Shopper
• Make purchases on behalf of residents who are unable to shop for themselves or have no family able to assist them with purchases.
• Recreation Activities
• Offer assistance and support to residents as they participate in activities of their choice at Aaron Manor.
• Movie Nights
• Provide transportation for residents to movie night. Enjoy a show and some wonderful popcorn while spending quality time with residents.
• Seamstress
• Offer services in hemming residents pants, attaching buttons, etc.
